AGTech Revenue Growth Analysis
AGTech Holdings saw a substantial rise in revenue for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, with gains reaching approximately 23.7% to HK$760.5 million ($97.1 million). This improvement is primarily attributed to advancements in its banking and digital payment sectors.
Challenges in Lottery Sector
While overall revenue increased, the lottery division experienced a downturn. Figures dropped by around HK$28.7 million ($3.7 million), mainly due to a decrease in hardware sales caused by fewer tenders and deliveries. However, a HK$6.8 million ($868,000) rise in offline distribution services partially mitigated this decline.
Banking Revenue Insights
AGTech’s banking services significantly bolstered its financial performance, particularly due to the inclusion of Ant Bank (Macao) Limited for a full year, which added HK$157.7 million ($20.1 million) to the bank’s revenue. This expansion was further supported by a growing customer base and increased deposits.
Digital Payments Expansion
The digital payments segment also strengthened, generating an additional HK$16.6 million ($2.1 million) to reach HK$323.8 million ($41.4 million). This growth was driven by increased transaction volumes linked to a boost in Macau’s tourism and local spending initiatives.
Financial Outcome
AGTech was able to reduce its annual loss to approximately HK$54.2 million ($6.9 million), improving from HK$98.6 million ($12.6 million) in the previous year. Yet, the board chose not to distribute a final dividend.
