RWS Launches Four Points by Sheraton in Jurong

RWS Expands with Four Points by Sheraton

Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has transformed the former Genting Hotel Jurong into a Four Points by Sheraton, broadening its hospitality reach beyond its main Sentosa location under the renowned Marriott International umbrella. This newly refurbished 15-story hotel, situated in Singapore’s Jurong Lake District, officially opened its doors on July 22nd. Initial operations began in 2015 as Genting Hotel Jurong, marking a significant milestone as the area’s first prominent hotel.

Strategic Collaboration and Brand Strength

In a 2025 announcement, RWS and Marriott outlined the conversion plan, with intentions to open in early 2026. Embracing the Four Points by Sheraton brand aims to enhance the hotel’s market appeal, targeting both business and leisure travelers. This agreement also strengthens the companies’ existing relationship, which includes The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort at RWS.

Prime Location and Amenities

Located on Jurong Town Hall Road, the hotel benefits from proximity to key areas like Jurong East’s transport hub and the International Business Park. Guests enjoy free shuttle rides to Resorts World Sentosa. Despite retaining 557 rooms, the property now features updated guest rooms, roof gardens, and sky terraces. Event space expanded to 850 square meters, with a divisible Genting Ballroom accommodating up to 330 guests. Additional amenities include five meeting rooms, a rooftop venue, pool, fitness center, and all-day dining.

Enhancing the Jurong District Offering

According to Andreas Oliver Reich, RWS’ Senior Vice President of Hospitality, the hotel is poised to cater to the evolving demands of business and leisure customers as Jurong Lake District develops into a secondary CBD. With this addition, RWS now offers over 1,900 accommodations, solidifying its presence in Singapore’s hospitality sector.

A Growing Hospitality Empire

RWS, part of Genting Singapore and home to Resorts World Casino, continues to expand its portfolio. The introduction of Four Points by Sheraton not only marks a significant development in the Jurong region but also underlines RWS’ commitment to providing comprehensive hospitality solutions in Asia.
