Sands China Achieves Top 1% Sustainability Rank
Sands China has been recognized as a leading entity in corporate sustainability, securing a position in the top 1% of the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026. This achievement, applicable to both the Global and China editions, highlights the company’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
Industry Mover Distinction in China
In addition to maintaining its top 1% status, Sands China obtained the ‘Industry Mover’ title for the second year in China. This award is reserved for the company with the most significant ESG score improvement within its sector.
Global & China Sustainability Recognition
The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook serves as a crucial benchmark for corporate ESG performance. For 2026, nearly 1,800 firms from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao were assessed, with Sands China being among the elite 36 companies in the top 1% tier.

Surpassing Industry Standards
To earn the ‘Industry Mover’ title, a company must achieve the highest ESG score improvement in its sector, with a minimum increase of 5% annually. Sands China exceeded this figure, enhancing its CSA score by over 6% within a year.
