GKL Experiences Sales Drop

Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), a foreigner-only casino operator in South Korea, faced a 13.8% decline in June sales compared to May, totaling KRW37.2 billion ($24 million). While table games rose by 5.3% year-on-year, machine games jumped 22% to KRW3.92 billion ($2.5 million). Visitor numbers also fell 5.5% month-on-month with VIP attendance notably dipping by 14.3%.

Paradise Co Reports Larger Decrease

However, machine game sales improved by 16.8%, reaching KRW5.56 billion ($3.6 million), even as table game revenue fell.
